Stressful work but last class
This website helps the rudimental jersey collectors to learn more helpful information while choosing the wanted jerseys. The website users can also pay for the service of jersey verification. The website’s main target is the English Premier League and the Spanish League (La Liga) fans.
I conducted a usability test and an A/B test to validate the functions and monetization of my website. A usability test is a kind of qualitative method, mainly to verify whether the users can understand the buttons and designs of the website and the monetization methods. An A/B test is a quantitative test to validate whether the users are interested in and willing to use the paid service.
Usability Test Tasks:
1. Find the page with jersey prices
2. Find the page of registration and try to register
3. Find the place to upload the jersey’s photo
4. Find the page which introduces the different styles of jersey
5. Don’t click “main page” on the nav bar back to the main page
Post-Test Questions
1. Rate my website from 1-5: five is best, one is worst
2. Any difficulties while browsing my website?
3. Any advice for my website?
A/B Test:
The A/B test was conducted on the main page, where the users see the website first. I deleted one button in the photos of the main page to explore the result of this change.
Original: There are two buttons at the center of leagues’ photos on the main page: jersey information and paid verification.
Variant 1: There is only one button at that place, which is paid verification
