Assignment V: The End is Near
Web design is quite tough, completely different from prototype design. Several lessons have been learnt from the development process.
First, stop (or be careful about) reinventing the wheel. I try to code from scratch, only relying on some basic libraries, which is torturing. I was thinking this might help me understand the principles better. I think I might be more suitable for research, as I am always curious about the mechanism or principles. Those libraries, like black boxes, can’t be easily ignored by me. Second, finish the basic requirements prior to some advanced tricks. I should look into those database or bootstrap stuff at first, instead of worrying about loading fbx 3d models with three.js.
Balance efficiency (faster to finish) and depth (better understanding).
