My first HTML experience

Hi, I’m Icy. Here is my first HTML website. The experience is a bit challenging but fun. I have created some websites before but all by website generators such as Wix. So this is really the first time that I created a website purely by coding.

One of the things I found most challenging was text display placement. I found that the box was extremely prone to drifting, but with absolute position settings, it would become quite dull. So I spent the most time adjusting the text position. The final result I think is satisfactory.

Also, because I wanted to achieve the jump effect and it was too tedious to create five HTML pages, I tried to find a more concise way. I tried using some very simple JavaScript, which allowed me to avoid a brand new page jump, but with very different content displayed.

I like simple but colorful designs, so what I enjoyed most about this assignment was finding a harmonious and simple color palette. Hope you like it as well 🙂
