Making webpages with html&css

Hi，welcome to my page. Happy to have completed this assignment using html&css. You can visit website here. Below I will describe my general idea about it.

Initially, I wanted this page looks elegant and I can use what I had learned in class. I first visited some of the big companies’ websites, as they must have been designed with care. I got a lot of ideas of layout and CSS style from the browser developer tool.

Then I came up with an idea to make a website that would show my work or ideas like a portfolio, and I could still improve and use it after this class. I divided the four modules into navigation, content, items, and bottom bar. Though not rich in contents and style, it’s enough for me to practice the use of various kind of selectors in organizing the page. Also, I use the contrast of font thickness, size, and color shades to achieve a clear display of the text content. I have spent a lot of time correcting the mistakes due to the confusing selectors I arranged.

I try to learn how to make the content responsive on the Bilibili, but not success in practice. I shall drop this challenge now because there are other classes coursework to complete. In addition, I have noticed that my page currently does not cover the use of positions, background images and other features. I will continue to add to it if I can think of suitable content to use this style afterwards.

Fascinated by the dynamic effects of other websites, I am looking forward to making this website dynamic. Hope that I can also make such effects after learning JavaScript.
