Vegetable self-sufficiency through home gardening

After research, the problem statement is defined as follows:
“How might we help a beginner in home gardening living in Guangzhou who wants to plant some vegetables on the balcony address the problems of finding the suitable types of vegetables, getting all things to buy efficiently as well as seeking professional guides generally considered incomplete and scattered in different platforms so that one could do home gardening successfully with family?”
There are four stages in the user journey, in finding stage, they need to find and information on home growing rather than traditional outdoor farming with less information in a large amount of growing information. In buying stage, they are confused about what exact products or supplies fit their needs, with efforts spent on looking for seeds, soil, fertilizers, etc. in different shops, and asking customer service several times to confirm whether they were suitable for home growing, or the supplies are for a particular plant. They also need guidance during planting.
After synthesizing the interviewer’s suggestion and the technical realization capability, the central realization part of the four stages of this conceptual design adopts the finding, buying, planting stage, and planning stages as possible future directions to consider.
and experts also said that participation in growing communities could be a huge help for home gardening.
My solution is to make a platform to provide information on home balcony vegetable growing methods and its material purchase series including seeds, soil, and fertilizer recommendation to the users in the Guangzhou area, with a team of experts to provide growing guidance and solutions to their problems.
At the same time, I plan to cooperate with the Guangzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which I know from their official website that they are promoting their research results on indoor gardening and have some good seeds and fertilizers, and other products suitable for indoor gardening in Guangzhou area that seeking marketable cooperation. By cooperating with my website, we can help them attract traffic and promote their products more.
There are two ways to make money from the website. The first is to sell the products and the platform will get part of the commission; the second is to charge a membership fee, only members can ask questions to the experts to get one-on-one guidance, and at the same time, members can unlock vegetables of their growing methods and product recommendation.
